Matthew 6:31- So do not start worrying; Where will my food come from? Or my drink? Or my clothes? These are things the pagans are always concerned about. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all things. Instead be concerned about everything else with The Kingdom of God and with what He requires of you. He will provide you with all these other things. So don’t worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings. In order to be able to do this seeking you must have the Love of God, because God is Love.
What is The God Kind of Love? 1 Corinthians 13
Love suffers long- patient
Love is kind
Love envies not
Love vaunted not itself
Love does not seek her own
Love does not behave unseemly
Love is not easily provoked
Love thinks no evil
Rejoice not in sin
Love rejoice in truth
Love bears all things
Love hopes all things
Love endures all things
Love never fails
Why does Love never fail?
1 John 4: 7-8 – Beloved let us love one another for love is of God, and every one that loves is born of God and knows God. He that loves not knows not God, for God is Love. Then you must have the faith to believe that God means what He says.
What is Faith? Hebrew 11:1 – To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. Galatians 5:6 Faith works by Love.
God has given us some specific commandments to live by, so that He can conform us to the image or likeness of His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. God’s reason for sending Jesus to suffer and die on the cross was so that we could be redeemed to Him. We came out of THE Heart of our Father God. God says, I knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. John 3:16 – For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die,but have eternal life.
There is HEAVEN and HELL AND OUR FOCUS AND DESIRES SHOULD BE ON WHERE WE WLL SPEND ETERNITY. Our desire should be to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father. We must understand that church is not just an organization or a social gathering for Wednesdays or Sundays. Church is group of Called out people.
Each and every one of us that have accepted Jesus as the Lord of our life is the Church. You carry the Church everywhere you go. If you say that you are a Christian everywhere you go you must represent Jesus. Everywhere you go and to everyone you meet. HOW ARE YOU PORTRAYING OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST? God says in His Word, “that because of the way you act and the thing you say, you make the heathens or the world around you blaspheme Me (God) or make a mockery of Me”. How are you portraying Jesus to the World around you? Remember you represent Jesus at all times; in your home, in your neighborhood, on your job and everywhere you are. Acts 16: 31 says that if you walk upright. If you live a Holy life, that He will save your whole household.
We all have family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers that need to be saved. How are you living before them? You know it takes the Love of God and the Word of God to walk this Christian walk. Being a Christian is not just a word, being a Christian is an action word. It is dying to self; it is being obedient to everything that God commands in His Word. It is studying The Word so that you will know what God commands you to do or not do. I hear so many people say that God understands me. That’s just me. I’ve been this way all my life. Let me inform you that God will not step out of His Word or Holiness for me or for you. The only thing that God understands is His Holiness and His WORD. He will not step outside of either for anyone. God is the same today, yesterday, and forever. Hebrews 13:5
The church buildings have been here for many years, but the true church is only as old as the oldest people, in the building, who have truly accepted Jesus as the Lord of their life. Which brings us to the question today? Have you accepted Jesus as the Lord of your life? The question is not do you go to church? I went to church for years and had no idea who Jesus was. I had no relationship with Him. I never open the bible not even when I went to church. But one day Jesus got a hold of me and I made Him Lord of my life. We always say that we found Jesus, that’s not true. Jesus wasn’t lost. We were. Romans 10:9-10.
Be Sure- ACCEPT -BELIEVE-CONFESS. Who do you confess it to? The building is not going to heaven. As we know many have left the building and have gone to their eternal destination. God says that He will not dwell in a building made by hand but in the heart of man. You are the temple of the Living God. Each and every day is the church. Represent Jesus everywhere you go.
